Smuggled luxury cars worth £ 900,000 DESTROYED by backhoe loader

LUXE car owners felt crushed – after their pride and joys were destroyed by a backhoe.

A collection of 21 vehicles worth a total of £ 900,000, including a Bentley Flying Spur, Porsche 911, Mercedes SLK, Lotus Elise and an ultra rare McLaren 620R, were left in twisted pieces of metal.

The McLaren had a list price of over £ 250,000 when new and only 225 were built.

The engines were seized as illegal imports by Philippine Customs and publicly destroyed as a warning.
